Hotel Facilities
Lodge: The design of
the hotel lodges were inspired by the traditional Argentine
estancia, and contemporary vineyard estate living. Each lodge
offers warm and comfortable accommodations, as well as access to
a wraparound outdoor patio with delightful vineyard views. The
lodges’ cheerful country galleries open to a revitalizing
swimming pool and courtyard where guests can lounge in the warm
Argentina sun as they enjoy a glass of crisp, estate-grown
Chardonnay. An adjacent vine-covered picnic area and traditional
"parrilla" lends itself to poolside barbeques catered by the
estate's gifted chefs. Enjoy a truly unique and tranquil holiday
experience as you explore the hidden treasures of Argentina’s
wine country, or simply relax in the peaceful, quite countryside
and rejuvenate your being.
Restaurant Chez Gaston: Chez Gaston at Algodon Wine
Estates typifies the best in Argentine traditional gourmet fare
and provincial atmosphere. The restaurant’s characteristic
architecture, open stone fireplace and serene setting inspire
conversation and reflection long after each meal. Set amidst an
antique olive grove planted nearly half a century ago, our
clubhouse restaurant boasts floor-to-ceiling windows that gaze
out upon the gorgeous green expanse of the driving range to the
north, and the amber-red hues of our handsome clay tennis courts
to the south. The clubhouse’s traditional design is emphasized
by its structural use of a combination of local wood, stone,
straw and reed, giving it a true feel of rustic antiquity.
Golf: Whether you’re
a lover of the game or not, you’ll undoubtedly appreciate the
brilliantly crafted beauty of Algodón Wine Estates/Viñas del
Golf’s course. Our remarkable estate features a championship
course that harmoniously intermingles with nearly 170 acres of
vineyards, water reserves, and fruit trees. What makes the
course so special is the unique variety of its holes; each named
after its specific surroundings or location within the vineyard.
Hole 1 is surrounded by our marvelous olive trees, and thus
called "Olivos". Hole 2 is set on our water reserve and is
complimented by stunning willow trees, we call this hole
"Sauces". Hole 3 is set among Malbec vines and poplars, we call
this hole "Malbec". Around our 4th hole you’ll find yourself in
the company of walnut trees, Hole 4 is called "Nogales". Hole 5
crosses a Bonarda vineyard and is aptly named "Bonarda", while
Hole 6, called "Damascos", has a backdrop of apricot trees. From
the tees of Hole 7 and Hole 8 the golfer will enjoy a
breathtaking view of the entire estate, these holes are called "Syrah"
and "Cabernet", respectively. Finally, at Hole 9 we honor the
memory of José Jurado. This hole is a replica of the 17th hole
of Carnoustie, Scotland, where in 1931 José Jurado missed
winning the British Open by one stroke. Electric golf carts, and
manual pull carts or caddies are available at your request.
Club House: Located among our hundred-year-old olive
trees, the Clubhouse was constructed using a combination of wood,
stone, straw, and reed, to give it a true feel of rustic
antiquity. Our Clubhouse is home to our renowned restaurant as
well as our golf shop. Here you will experience the convergence
of three distinct worlds; haute cuisine, estate grown wine, and
golf. Jurado’s Golf Pro Shop offers the latest equipment and
apparel, as well as club rentals. Our knowledgeable staff is
always on hand to lend valuable advice regarding personalized
fittings when purchasing new clubs.
