Hotel Facilities
The hotel offers a variety of rooms and suites each with their
own individual charm and character. The 42 rooms are divided
between classic double rooms, superior doubles, deluxe doubles
and suites. The standard, superior and deluxe rooms are all
bright, spacious and finely furnished. They offer garden or
valley views. The suites are perfect for that ‘special stay ‘or
for those wanting a real slice of luxury. They are bright and
spacious and offer a comfortable lounge area, a Jacuzzi
bathroom, and either a private terrace or loggia. Each suite is
unique due to individual features and selected pieces of period
furniture.
The clients can choose to dine in one of two restaurants, the
one inside the Hotel or to the nearby Osteria Le Braci,
based in the grounds of a prestigious wine estate: Castello
San Donato in Perano. The estate has a 16th Century Strozzi
Castle at it’s centre and is the base for many of the services
on offer to hotel guests, such as wine tasting, vine yard tours,
cooking courses, art courses, incentive meetings and weddings.
The hotel offers breathtaking views over the surrounding Chianti
countryside. All rooms have Sat-TV, mini bar, hetaing/air
conditioning, safe, hair dryer.
Bedrooms facilities
All room is equipped with individually-controlled heating /
air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe,
hairdryer.
In addition, the suites have: separate sitting room with sofa /
armchairs, bathtub with jacuzzi, private terrace with valley
views.
At Guests disposal, the hotel offers: heated open-air swimming
pool (14 x 7m), private parking, wine shop selling its own wine,
oil, grappa etc, covered terrace, private chapel, several cosy
indoor sitting rooms, an internet point.
The Relais also has a conference room seating 30 people, with
audio-visual equipment available.
Restaurant description
Located inside Relais Vignale, the Ristorante Vignale
offers a splendid panorama from it’s wisteria terrace and offers
guests the opportunity to taste the true flavours of the
Chianti.
In the kitchen the chef reinterprets traditional Tuscan recipes,
creating an array of evocative flavours, striving to keep in
line with the season specialities.

- Baked duck terrine served with salad, balsamic and oil
dressing
- Pasta roll au gratin stuffed with spinach and pecorino cheese
- Best end of lamb flavoured with Colonnata lard and rosemary
- Almond creme brule served with hazel-nut sauce.
