Casa das Pipas is the guest house of Quinta do Portal winery.
Quinta do Portal is a unique, family, fine winemaking company
based in the Douro Valley, in Northern Portugal. Our vines have
been grown in this harsh and beautiful land for many hundreds of
years.
The Douro valley is one of the world's great fine winegrowing
areas.
Port and Moscatel Wines: Mixing tradition and innovation
in both the production and presentation of our fortified wines,
we wish them to be enjoyed by mature consumers as well as
younger ones. These are unique wines meant to be appreciated by
everybody with happiness and good health!
Douro and Sparkling Wines: We believe the Douro region has
the potential to produce some of the best wines of the World.
Using its unique grape varieties together with the expertise in
their vinification and ageing, our wines have been winning a
number of international awards. Their beautiful presentation
brings a touch of sophistication to any occasion.
