Hotel Facilities
Rooms: All 50 rooms and suites are equipped with a
mini-bar, air conditioning, heated bathroom floors, spacious
showers and extra large bathtubs.
A glance through one of the many
panoramic windows will reveal that the interior design reflects
the colours and textures of the countryside. state of the art
technology is used for the lighting system and the best media
facilites - telephones, lcd television and wi fi internet - are
available in all the rooms
Villas, for more private stays, benefit
from all the hotel services, including access to the spa and
restaurants. housekeeping is also included. all the villas have
private or shared plunge pools, fully equipped kitchens and
fireplaces.
Gourmet: The Aquapura Douro Valley has 2 restaurants, 1
bar and a pool bar. The Douro Valley is the oldest demarcated
wine region in the world. it is only natural that the wine list
in our restaurants is quite exceptional. in either restaurant
you can choose from a selection of over 200 wines, 15 champagnes
and 20 bottled waters from all over the world. the douro wines
make up to 50% of this list. two thirds of these are reds.
Vale Abraão Restaurant: Casual, stylish and contemporary,
it is where breakfast and lunch are served. mediterranean fusion
cuisine, inspired by Portuguese flavours and aromas, can be
enjoyed in the restaurant’s beautiful terrace overlooking the
vineyards.
The chef recommends panaché of fish from the atlantic, shrimp
bread polenta.

Almapura: An exquisite cuisine inspired in the best
Mediterranean flavours and aromas and in the careful selection
of fresh and delicate ingredients, await you in our favourite
restaurant.
Bar: Enjoy our carefully selected range of portuguese and
world reknown wines in a sophisticated, inviting setting. you
may also order a light snack whilst admiring the magnificent
sunset over the douro river.
The chef recommends roast beef in baguettine bread & light
bernaise sauce.
30 people indoors and on the terrace | open daily | 10.00 am to
02.00 am.
The chef recommends veal entrecôte d.o.p. wrapped in filo pastry
filled with shiitake mushrooms, mediterranean vegetables and
choron sauce.
36 people | open daily | dinner from 7.00 pm till 10.30 pm.
Pool Bar: Enjoy the subtlety of world flavours from our
menu of light meals, with great emphasis on grilled atlantic
fish and shellfish. try our cocktails, milkshakes and fresh
natural drinks in the peacefulness of a pool surrounded by
silence and spectacular scenery.
The chef recommends vale abraão salad with courgette, egg plant
and tomato on a lettuce mesclum of grilled shrimp.

hectare “quinta” by the river douro. here space, comfort,
seclusion and peace play the central roles.

vineyards and the river, this 80 sqm heated pool has magnificent
views and plenty of sunshine.

healthy mind. rackets and balls at your disposal to exercise on
the artificial grass tennis court.

award winning geometric design gardens at the river's edge.
