Introduction
Alto Chacras Lodge stands out because of the warmth of its
spaces and the funcionality of its distribution. Past and
present together in a unique combination of details and colours
that the present genres contribute.
This antique XIX century house, was one of the first
viticultural units of the zone, with more than 20 hectares of
vineyards sorrounded by olive and fruit trees.
It was constructed with materials specially brought from Denmark
because in that period artisan work in the country was not made.
This antique house has been admirably preserved with the past of
time, mantaining its original architectural style with wide
walls of sun-dried brick, carpentry of pinotea (king of wood)
with postigons, vitraux and ceiling of melded plate.
Our stable and the garden are other great attractions of
the inn, where the aged trees are its main figure.
The surroundings of the inn are unique; wineries and vineyards,
located in the Land of the sun and good wine.
